As a psychotherapist and sex therapist, I love people, getting to know them, and helping them see themselves as valuable and lovable.

I’m Jillien Kahn,
PhD, LMFT, CST-S
SHE/HERI am only accepting AF-EMDR and KAP clients at this time. Please see the About the Team page to connect with another therapist at this practice.
I have spent more than 11 years helping individuals, couples, and relationships navigate life's challenges, deepen connection, and move toward greater fulfillment. My training includes a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Art Therapy, a Master of Education in Human Sexuality Studies, a PhD in Clinical Human Sexuality Studies, and AASECT sex therapy certification. While my education has given me a strong foundation, I believe that every person who walks through my door brings their own wisdom, experiences, and strengths, and therapy works best when we honor those together.
I approach therapy with both curiosity and compassion. I strive to create a space where you can show up as you are, explore what feels difficult, and discover new possibilities for yourself and your relationships. Whether you are seeking healing, growth, deeper intimacy, or simply a different way of understanding yourself, I am committed to meeting you where you are.
In addition to working with clients, I am an AAMFT And AASECT approved supervisor. I deeply value the lifelong process of learning and growth that is, I believe, a requirement for all therapists. I believe that being a good therapist means continuing to grow, question, and expand my understanding so I can offer thoughtful, inclusive, and well-rounded care to both my clients and supervisees.
My own experiences in therapy have shaped who I am as a clinician. They have taught me the value of being truly seen, the courage it takes to be vulnerable, and the profound impact that a trusting therapeutic relationship can have on our lives.
At the heart of my work is a genuine care for the people I sit with. Therapy is not about fixing you or telling you who to be. It is about creating a collaborative space where you can better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and move toward a life that feels more connected, authentic, and meaningful.
I work hard to create and maintain an open, trusting relationship with each client.
I believe that therapy is most effective when the relationship is authentic, caring, supportive, and challenging, and I want you to feel held, heard, and seen.
